Don Kremer

ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 5230
Don joined the Monterey Peninsula Sunrise Rotary Club in 1991.
His classification is Management Consulting. After retiring from a 25-year
career with IBM, he formed his own consulting practice, with a specialty in
accelerating change in large organizations.
Don served as Governor of District 5230 in 2006-2007, and has served his club
and his district in many capacities over the years. He was the Services Division
Chair for the 2009 Monterey Zone 25/26 Institute. He served as Far West PETS
Program Committee Chair in 2009 and 2010. He was D5230 Membership Committee
Chair for 2009-10 as well as Assistant Rotary Foundation Coordinators (ARRFCs)
for Zone 26.
As of July 1, 2010 Don became the first Rotary Coordinator for Zone 26 — a new
position in Rotary with emphasis Rotary’s Strategic Plan and strengthening and
supporting Rotary clubs. His term ends July 1, 2014
Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, Don and his wife Diane now reside in
Pacific Grove, California. Diane is an Interior Designer and principle in Kremer
Design Group. They have two grown children and five grandchildren. Don and Diane
attended the Rotary International Conventions in Barcelona, Spain, Chicago,
Malmo, Sweden-Copenhagen, Denmark, Salt Lake, Los Angeles and New Orleans. Don,
Diane and seven family members are Paul Harris Fellows. They are Sustaining
Members of the Rotary Foundation, Major Donors and members of the Bequest
Society.
